REACH Compliance

The EC Regulation No. 1907/2006 on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) entered in force on 1st June 2007, to streamline and improve the former legislative framework on chemicals of the European Union (EU), especially those Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC’s).

With the publication of the "candidate list" (Article 59 REACH), Article 33(1) of the REACH Regulation obliges suppliers to inform the recipients of the presence of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). The following link provides a table of SVHC that are included in the "candidate list".

Our Obligations

Cases 247 have put into place processes and procedures to ensure implementation and compliance with the regulation especially the Assessment of the presence of SVHC’s and communication along the supply chain to both suppliers and customers.

Although we are committed to meeting these legal obligations under REACH, as an independent supplier/distributor/importer of computer hardware and components, classed as "articles" as defined in REACH 3(3), Cases 247 does not certify compliance with REACH on behalf of their original manufacturers.

All product information relating to environmental compliance, including, but not limited to REACH and RoHS, is provided to Cases 247 by the product manufacturers and therefore provided by Cases 247 on an "AS IS" basis.

It is our intention to fulfil our customer requests on REACH howver we strongly advise that all our customers take an active role in understanding environmental compliance of our products and select accordingly.
